I'm not sure how to give this company no stars! L.L. Bean has dropped to the lowest possible customer services and products available. I have been a very long loyal shopper. After a pair of high cost winter boots failed I returned them to the store. (my 1st ever return) Was treated rudely and given a refund of a very small fraction of what I had paid. Went online to use the refund and purchased some additional items. That was several weeks ago and today received an email with an apology after several calls explaining they have changed their shipping methods. Please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

If you decide to shop here, dress well, otherwise you will be followed and watched like a potential shoplifter. I personally don't recommend wearing mismatched workout wear, even if you are on your way to one of the many parks in the area. There's nothing quite like turning the corner to overhear the previously lurking manager ask if anything "interesting happened" when the delightfully friendly and helpful gentleman, who by the way has helped me during several previous purchases, helped us pick out her new Merrill hiking shoes. I was there to hear him give a rundown to you of our interaction and only left to try to catch my daughter before she finished making her purchase. I was too late, and didnt want to tell her about your ignorant assumptions, and watch her face as she realized the kind of people you believed us to be. To the man I have to assume is the manager, next time you want to speak disrespectfully about a customer I suggest you look around first. You sir, are an elitist prick.
